Automatic translation
in and out of your inbox
An enquiry in German should not become a ticket that only one person in the department can handle. In Tvixel, the conversation is translated both ways as it happens: customers read and write in their own language, and you read and write in yours. You always see what will be sent before it goes out.
Customers write in their language • You reply in yours • Translated with European AI

Two languages in one thread
When a message arrives in a language you do not use, its translation appears in the thread straight away, with a small label showing that it was translated automatically. The customer’s original text is still there: switch between the translation and the original with a single click.
This works across every channel in Tvixel. Email, website chat, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp are handled in the same way, because it is the same ticket wherever it came from.
Thirty languages directly, and more beyond that
Danish, English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Slovak, Slovenian, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Ukrainian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese are translated directly.
If a customer writes in another language, you can still reply: the text is passed to a European language model with much broader coverage. The process stays the same, with a different engine behind it, and you will not notice any difference in the ticket.
Translation stays in Europe
The text is sent to a translation service in Germany or, for languages it does not cover, to a language model in France. Both are European, with no US parent company at the other end. As always, the rest of your data is stored on servers in the EU.

How does automatic translation work in Tvixel?
If a customer writes in a different language from yours, the translated message appears in the ticket, with the original just one click away. When you reply, you write in your own language and see the translated version before it is sent.
Can we edit the translation before sending it?
Yes. You see the translated text before sending it and can edit it or choose to send your own text instead. Nothing is sent without you seeing it first.
Which languages are supported?
Thirty languages are translated directly, including Danish, English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish, French, Arabic, Japanese and Chinese. If a customer writes in a language outside the list, it is translated by a European language model with much broader coverage.
Can we see what the customer originally wrote?
Yes. The original is saved alongside the translation, and you can switch between them with one click. For replies you have sent, you can see exactly which text went out.
Does it also work in live chat and on social media?
Yes. Email, website live chat, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp are handled in the same way, because they all become the same type of ticket in Tvixel.
Can we turn off translation for specific languages?
Yes, and this is a personal setting. In their own profile, each employee chooses which languages should never be translated for them, such as English. Their colleagues keep their own settings.
Where is the text sent?
To a translation service in Germany or, for languages it does not cover, to a language model in France. Both operate within the EU.
