1. Who we are

Tvixel ApS (“Tvixel”, “we”, “us”) provides a communication and ticket management platform used by companies to handle customer inquiries — including messages received via email, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The company you contact through Tvixel is the data controller responsible for how your personal data is used. Tvixel acts solely as a data processor on behalf of that company.

2. Personal data we process

When you contact a company that uses Tvixel, we may process the following information on their behalf:

  • Your name and profile picture (for messages sent via Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp)
  • Your email address and/or phone number
  • The content of your messages, including text, images, and attachments
  • Technical data such as message timestamps, sender addresses, or Messenger IDs

3. Purpose of processing

Personal data is processed solely to enable communication between you and the company you contact, to manage and respond to your inquiries, and to ensure service quality and security within the Tvixel system.

4. Legal basis

The processing is based on the company’s legitimate interest in responding to customer messages (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or your consent when applicable.

5. Data access and sharing

Your data may be accessed by:

  • The company you contacted and its authorized staff
  • Tvixel ApS as a technical service provider (data processor)
  • Sub-processors providing hosting, email delivery, and IT security services

Tvixel does not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Data retention

Your messages are stored as long as necessary for the company to handle your inquiry, in accordance with their data retention policies. Tvixel will delete or anonymize data upon instruction from the data controller.

7. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to object to the processing of your data.

Please direct such requests to the company you communicated with. Tvixel cannot directly modify or delete your data without their instruction.

8. Data security

Tvixel applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Encrypted and salted password storage
  • Access control and user authentication
  • Secure EU-based hosting and continuous monitoring

9. Data transfers outside the EU/EEA

Tvixel and its sub-processors primarily store and process data within the EU/EEA. Any transfer outside this area will only occur under valid legal safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
